Head of Data

The Head of Data leads the data team (Data Engineers, Analysts, Scientists), defines the data architecture, guarantees quality and governance, and aligns data usage with business priorities. Reports to the CDO or CTO. Expert in data architecture, governance, and managing cross-functional data teams.

Expected tasks

  • Define and drive the strategic vision
  • Align teams on 1-3 year priorities
  • Represent the company to investors, clients and media
  • Recruit and develop key leaders
  • Allocate resources to highest-impact topics
  • Ensure overall operational performance
  • Run the executive committee and board
