VP Engineering
The VP Engineering runs the engineering organisation at scale: hiring, team structure, processes, quality, performance and delivery. Reports to the CTO or directly to the CEO depending on company size, and owns continuous delivery of the product roadmap. Expert in scaling engineering teams, delivery processes and organisational architecture.
Expected tasks
- Define and drive the strategic vision
- Align teams on 1-3 year priorities
- Represent the company to investors, clients and media
- Recruit and develop key leaders
- Allocate resources to highest-impact topics
- Ensure overall operational performance
- Run the executive committee and board
